So far I have spent around £170 on models and 70 pounds on the accessories, such as the case, sculpting tools, paints and green stuff. I have bought the majority of my army from the store, pieced them together, and with a little help from my friends Ben and James, have managed to convert most of the troop choices into Plague Marines. a few of the other models were bought second hand from peoples left over armies and converted to my cause. Green stuff was used to imitate rotting flesh on the shoulders and legs, and was used on the Terminators, Rhino's and the Vindicator as well. Today I have finished base coating my army with citadel base paint over the unpainted and painted models to give me a blank canvas.
Now for my first 3 images; a view of my army from different angles;

It is around 1500 points of Nurgle and still in the base Colour stage, one set of Plague Marines have been painted from my last army and didn’t need to be repainted.
as you can see it is only a small army, I am hoping to get it up to 3000 by next summer,
that will include the traitor Guard I am planning to obtain.
Here is a number coded image so I can explain what is in my army;

1. These are Plague Marines, four in total, normal Chaos Marines that have had green stuff sculpted on to add that diseased effect.
2. A troop of normal chaos marines with a banner of chaos.
3. Chaos spawn, one is insect-like with chitnous body parts and the other is an arm and head fest, with arms and heads here and there.
4. Chaos Rhino, two of them, green stuff moulded to create rotting flesh, they are to be joined with a squad of Plague Marines each.
5. Chaos Vindicator, same detailing as the other tanks, I tend to use this whenever I can. Mainly because it Whoops Arse.
6. Normal Space Marine Terminators, converted with green stuff and spawn parts, a group of five in which I usually join with my;
7. Chaos Sorcerer, my pride and joy, a normal Space Marine Terminator lord I tried to convert into Typhus, this was before I noticed it wouldn’t fit in the allotted 1500 points, so he is now a normal Sorcerer with a familiar, the familiar is an imperial guard which I will soon Nurglify into his lieutenant. he has a scythe sculpted by Ben.
Well there you go the beginnings to my first attempt at an Apocalypse army, watch this space for future updates.
